Gym Fit Out – Feltham

The Anytime Fitness Gym in Feltham occupies a fantastic new ground floor glazed frontage site below new residential apartments and opposite the train station.

We worked closely with the developer and their contractor to gain early access to the site and commence fit out works whilst the main contract works on the apartments continued above.

The location of the new gym site, being beneath residential units, meant there were some significant challenges surrounding acoustic requirements.

SCL were in liaison with the acousticians, the franchisee, and the local authority EHO at design stage to ensure a compliant installation.
This included the need for acoustic ceilings and flooring, and an internal Mechanical plant room with acoustic louvres to minimise airborne noise break out from the new VRF air-conditioning system.

The gym is located over 3 levels, with the main Gym workout space & some bathroom and locker provision on the ground floor, a studio and functional training zone to an upper mezzanine space, and the remaining bathrooms in a lower ground level.
The site is finished to the Anytime Fitness Generation 2 design aesthetic and, with its high ceilings and large glazed elevations to two sides, offers Feltham’s new members a fantastic light, bright, and airy training facility.
