Gym Fit Out – Epsom

We recently completed (February 2021) a Gym fit out in an upper floor area of an existing Shopping Centre in Epsom for Anytime Fitness.

This was previously a large leisure facility, the landlord handed over a raw shell to Storage Concept’s following infilling of the previous swimming pool area.

The site presented a number of obstacles and included amongst these the refurbishment of a feature staircase, raised bathrooms to accommodate limited drainage facilities, and acoustic flooring to the free weights area in the old swimming pool zone which now provides a fantastic open plan free weights training facility.

The gym presents itself on a number of different levels, with the entrance area boasting a feature staircase, which in turn provides access to a split level training facility, with cardio, fixed resistance and studios on one level overlooking the plate loaded and free-weights area below.

Careful design of the mechanical and electrical installation through the split level gym space give clear views through the site and provide an open and airy training facility.

The new Anytime Fitness Generation 2 design branding elements are prominent throughout the completed site giving a modern and contemporary visual aesthetic to the entire gym facility.

Storage Concepts worked closely with the Franchisee through a difficult and challenging construction completed in the depths of the Covid 19 pandemic.
