Storage Concepts have developed a long-standing relationship with Snap-On Tools Ltd, mainly because both companies share the same belief in excellence and always having the right tools for the operation in hand.

The ‘tools’ that we have supplied to Snap-On include their main distribution facility and headquarters in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Starting from scratch, we set out to fully understand the parameters of Snap-On’s operation. Then we produced an overall proposal that would more than meet their business requirements, followed by plans for the extensive new centre that would become the HQ and main distribution centre for the UK and parts of Europe.

It was an important and prestigious project that involved providing detailed drawings and high specifications for new offices, including the supply of new furniture, seating, wall cupboards and partitioning system. The warehousing facility was similarly comprehensive; including mezzanine floors, small parts storage, bin systems and pallet racking. We also recommended and supplied lighting and electrics.

We completed the construction within budget and within the given timescale, and we have since added additional facilities to the warehouse.

We’ve also installed systems at Snap-On’s regional offices and storage depots throughout the UK – a testament to Storage Concepts’ ability to understand and satisfy our clients’ requirements.
