Planning Permission For Mezzanine Floors

Storage Concepts Ltd of Melton Mowbray design, manufacture and install mezzanine floors. We provide CAD designs of the new structure which shows the new proposed mezzanine floor in the location where it is intended to be installed, before the installation we require to submit the drawing to an independent building inspector or the local authority for approval of the layout and their recommendations as to what and if fire protection is required.

We would normally contact an independent building inspector who we have worked on many projects with for his initial thoughts, they can give approval within 24 hours so we can start the manufacturing process.

As long as the mezzanine is built to their recommendations then they will provide a full building completion certificate at the end of the installation after they have completed the inspection to ensure its built to the correct recommendation. They would also inform the local authority of the proposed installation and the date it is due to start.
