Warehouse Pallet Racking

Mecc Alte contacted Storage Concepts as they had expanded their current premises by building an additional premises nearby. They liaised with the team to assist with their new warehouse pallet racking requirements.

We worked closely with them and made sure to discuss their exact requirements for pallet racking to ensure we were able to assist them in the most convenient way. We soon learnt that they required the racking for the existing range of pallets that they had to store and worked this into the design for the new pallet racking layout.

With the assistance of our CAD design team we were able to find a solution that worked well for Mecc Alte, meeting all their requirements. We fitted all of the pallet racking bays with mesh decks and column guards and run end barriers were also fitted. The specification also included that anti-collapse mesh would be installed on one of the runs to protect a walkway.

When carrying the work out at site, we worked with the company to ensure that there would be minimal disruption to their current day to day business.

As well as the new warehouse racking system, we installed a small 50mm partition to be used as a dispatch office. The whole project included the supply & installation of office partitioning, furniture lighting and electrical work, as well as the newly designed & installed pallet racking which together provided a fully functioning warehouse, much to the satisfaction of the customer.
