Mezzanine Floor Offices

With the acceleration in sales of Range Rover, Land Rover and Jaguar, one of the UK’s leading dealerships, Sturgess Leicester, needed to move their operation up a gear.

Pressure on space in their Leicester showrooms was intense with all available area being used for ‘front line’ services such as sales, service and retail parts. Additional office space and a smart sales closing area were urgently needed to capitalize on their growing success.

Working with the architects, Storage Concepts completed designs and specifications, together with proposals that would enable Sturgess Jaguar to achieve a fast track timescale, within an allocated budget.

We were delighted to be awarded the contract and immediately began installing a high tech mezzanine floor which would utilize the space above the existing sales floor to create offices, leaving the space below for the important sales closing area underneath.

Our fast track system meant the mezzanine floor was installed prior to the Christmas break, quickly followed by office accommodation. The offices were created using demountable partitioning, suspended ceilings and floor coverings. The project also included lighting, electrical and air conditioning systems and everything was installed, and finished, within weeks.

The end result was a high quality facility that neatly follows the architectural style of the building, and reflects the current Jaguar/Land Rover/Range Rover corporate identity. Sturgess Jaguar were left with the engine they needed to power sales.
