Industrial Cabin Enclosures

Mills Engineering have been a client of Storage Concepts for several years and we have successfully completed projects together throughout the UK and Ireland.

KME asked us to provide waste cabin enclosures for a new recycling plant being constructed on the outskirts of Glasgow’s city centre.

We created early-stage designs and specifications for air handling and ventilation systems that would prove critical in ensuring an acceptable working environment for operatives within the enclosure.

But it was our ability to support and strengthen KME’s bid that really engineered success. We provided AutoCAD drawing, comprehensive specifications and detailed proposals – all of which helped Ken Mills Engineering become accepted by the main contractor/operator. It also won us the contract to complete the formation of the waste management cabins, and the mechanical and electrical installation.

Work on the £110,000 project was completed on site to a challenging timescale, enabling the recycling plant to comply with the requirements of the contract programme. This performance has led to Storage Concepts being awarded further waste management projects for both KME and other major contractors within the recycling and waste management industry
